this is a part of some declarations i speak out loud every morning. must say, when i'm declaring God's word-- it is emboldening, empowering, just awesome. i use the message version because it is a fresh take on what i have read before in the NIV and the NKJV.

I declare CHRIST has set me FREE to LIVE a FREE life. So I take my stand! I will never again let anyone put a harness of slavery on me. It is absolutely clear that GOD has called me to a FREE life. I am making sure that I don’t use this freedom as an excuse to do whatever I want to do and destroy my freedom. Rather, I will use my freedom to serve others in love; that’s how freedom grows.
