Winking @ Sin
God takes sin seriously. I’m confident we don’t. God expects holiness from His people. I’m certain we consider holiness an impossible dream we never even try to achieve.
No long story here. No elaborate illustration. I don’t think it’s necessary to prove today’s point. We need to repent. We need to take time to do the deep self examination necessary to determine how we’ve missed the mark, seek God’s forgiveness, receive God’s grace and become the people God desires us to be.
I wonder what God will do through a people whose heart is fully His? Let’s find out.
Today, examine yourself. Stop winking at sin and discover the freedom of forgiveness, the value of obedience and begin your pursuit of holiness.
