How many served in the first sanctuary?
So how many volunteers served in the first sanctuary?
Numbers 3:28 tells us that there were some 8,600 personnel performing all the duties of the sanctuary. I have never come across this number. I can only imagine the size of this staff meeting. That must have been a sight to see. In my church, I am the only one on staff. It has both its advantages and disadvantages--but 8,600, wow?!
