Really? On their account? I get it, Moses pled for them in ways that most people can't even begin to understand, but let's be clear here, Moses was the one who blatantly disobeyed God. It was his own sin that punished him and not the people.

Perhaps that is the reason why God told him He didn't want to hear anymore about it.
