Immaturity = Slavery

So long as believers continue to live as immature children, they continue to be like slaves. Immaturity as a Christ-follower means we will continue to be in bondage to our sin. We will continue to be worried, afraid, depressed, angry, and all the other troubles that come from being apart from Christ.

Immature Christians are subject to other masters, and God sets "guardians and trustees" over them until they grow to maturity.
