Wealth or poverty is inadmissible
This verse is depicted in our modern laws when it comes to civil trials. I would hazard a guess that every state has a provision that says that the wealth or poverty of a party is inadmissible at trial, because it does not go to the issues to be decided by the fact-finder, such as whether one party was negligent in a certain circumstance. I love that God's Word has the same principle: you must decide the issue with relevant information only, and not let biases or prejudices or sympathies play a role in your decision-making.
