That's cold
So I know that God is totally teaching a lesson here, but dang...that's harsh! You'd think He'd be over it by now don't you? Or is it that God really can't stand sin. He takes it so seriously, but we're (and by we're I mean I) so quick to dismiss our shortcomings. Now yes, everything we've done and will do is covered by the blood of Christ, but our sin is not "Ok". Tough pill to swallow. Even my "little" sins are in complete conflict with my Creator.
