Don't Mess With The Sword

"...him who has the sharp double-edge sword" (v. 12)
"...the sword of my mouth" (v. 16)

Jesus is the Word. He speaks the Word. Heb. 4:12 says the word of God is sharper than a double-edged sword.

The sword is the Word, and you don't play around with a sword.

Our teaching at Meadow must line up with the Word. No ifs, ands, or buts. If there is teaching or a teacher/leader who subscribes to a belief or lifestyle contrary to the Word - we/I must deal with it and use the Word as the standard, not my opinion or what others have said. The standard for our teaching is the Word.

The teaching at Meadow is not about me or my opinion or my thoughts - nor is it about what is accepted or popular in culture or politics. It is about Jesus. It is all about Jesus. Jesus and His Word ... the sword.

I and every other teacher at Meadow - from children to youth to adults - will be held to a higher standard because people will listen to us and will change their lifestyles and belief system because of us. If we are not lined up with the Word - we will lead many astray.

We will not mess with the truth of the sword.
