Prayer for the night
Father, My thoughts are put to rest and my future worries are dissolving into a serene gray. I have given up my fear and anxiety for joy and happiness. My conscience remains entrusted on God's living word and the remembrance of the one true act of Love. For every stripe my savior took, a sin was erased from my past. Every thorn that pierced his flesh, removed an ailment that afflicted my body. For every swing of the mallet to sink the nails into the tree, my tears were dried and replaced with gladness. My soul is replenished and stronger then ever. While I am here on this earth, my life is guarded by the blood spilled by my Savior, the eternal blood of the lamb washed my iniquities and rebuked evil out of my once tattered mind. I have been made whole and can never return to my carnal nature. But, if I fall once more, I am so glad that my God picks me up and wipes the stains off, leaving my cloth spotless. Eternal Father, I love You and will worship you all the days of my life. I love You because You first loved me and an everlasting peace resides. I give praise to your righteous right hand, in Jesus name, Amen.
Jesus says to come to Him all who are weary and heavy-laden and He will give you rest.
