The Power Went Out!
Luke 8:45 Then Jesus said, “Who touched me?” When all the people said they had not touched him, Peter said, “Master, the people are all around you and are pushing against you.”46 But Jesus said, “Someone did touch me, because I felt power go out from me.”
It is interesting that Jesus felt power leave Him. Jesus was fully God and yet He emptied Himself of His divinity. He lived as a man on earth who was empowered by the Holy Spirit. If Jesus lost power, how much more do we? Do we ever feel power go out from us? What does losing power look like? How often are we filled with power? How do we obtain power? Luke 11:13 If you then, though you are evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father in heaven give the Holy Spirit to those who ask Him!"
