"What do you say about yourself?” What an amazing question they were asking John The Baptist. It was such an open door to proclaim the One that John served...to spread the Gospel...to share about God our Father and the coming Savior. It also gave John the chance to establish his identity in being a servant of the true living God.

It is the same question we answer each day..."what do we say about ourselves?" Every time we introduce ourselves to someone, answer the telephone, post to Twitter, update our Facebook status, walk in a room...we are answering that question. Think back to yesterday. How did you introduce yourself to people? What title did you give? What was the main subject of your conversation? What did you post online? What was the identity that you promoted? Was it as a follower of Christ? Did it point people back to God? Did it clearly identify you as a servant of God?

I suppose the bigger question is..."what do you say about yourself"...today?
