Slaves of Christ Jesus
Christ is my master. That is a strong statement, how can he be my master? He bought me with His blood on the cross, when He died in my place. He transferred me from the bondage of sin to His loving ownership. He is a loving master and His purchase has made me holy. My master not only sees me as his possession but also as His sister. And His Father has become our Father. He grants grace and peace to His children. His yoke is so much lighter than the yoke of this world and He loves me beyond imagination.
But one thing to not forget is that He is still Lord. He is the ruler of my life and when I rebel against Him, He lovingly corrects me. He is still sovereign, but He does not leave me alone in this journey even if He guides me somewhere difficult and hard. He has sent me a helper who guides, teaches and corrects me. My Jesus is the perfect master, the only one just, holy, unselfish and without fault. He is not like fallen man, He is one of a kind, but most of all He is still Lord.
Father, help me to remember that Jesus is Lord. Help me to submit to Him areas of my life that I have voluntary submitted to the bondage of sin. Lord, help me to trust you as the perfect master and submit to your perfect will without fear, knowing that you are with me in this journey and that you have not left me alone, but sent me the Holy Spirit as your helper. Help me Lord in this journey, help me to lovingly submit to your will and your way. Love you Jesus, In Jesus' name I pray. Amen.
