Daddy's rules aren't rules their boundaries Part 1 The first change a look in the mirror

http://jbelleblogs.blogspot.com/
Jesus isn't sending us to hell, is trying to keep us out! Jesus is our father, and its daddy's job to keep us out of bad places. It is like me saying If you keep cutting yourself you going to bleed to death, or If you keep walking in that direction you going to fall off of that cliff. Jesus is warning us, be mindful of what you are inside, you will be held accountable for it in the end, also who we are in side determines which direction we go. Jesus was always talking about the internal change.

I love how the message bible explains what John the baptist says to the Pharisees

http://read.ly/Matt3.7.MSG: http://read.ly/Matt3.7.NIV:http://read.ly/Matt3.8.NET
When John realized that a lot of Pharisees and Sadducees were showing up for a baptismal experience because it was becoming the popular thing to do, he exploded: “Brood of snakes! What do you think you’re doing slithering down here to the river? Do you think a little water on your snakeskins is going to make any difference?8 It’s your life that must change, not your skin!9 And don’t think you can pull rank by claiming Abraham as father. Being a descendant of Abraham is neither here nor there. Descendants of Abraham are a dime a dozen.10 What counts is your life. Is it green and blossoming? Because if it’s deadwood, it goes on the fire.11 “I’m baptizing you here in the river, turning your old life in for a kingdom life. The real action comes next: The main character in this drama—compared to him I’m a mere stagehand—will ignite the kingdom life within you, a fire within you, the Holy Spirit within you, changing you from the inside out.12 He’s going to clean house—make a clean sweep of your lives. He’ll place everything true in its proper place before God; everything false he’ll put out with the trash to be burned.”

What s interesting is the Greek word for the action of the repentance in Matthew 3:8 is AXIOS
(Pronunciation: ax'-ee-os)
as you can see here at the link with different translations derived from the Greek.

Axios means having weight or worth, being congruous. http://net.bible.org/lexicon.php?word=worth
