Am I focused on Christ or this world?
"Am I eagerly looking forward to going to Heaven?" "Am I truly excited when people turn from sin to follow Christ?" "Do I actively seek God's will in my life? "
These are a few questions that come to my mind in response to these verses. A follower of Christ should be focused on the things that are important to Christ. Lets face it, the Bible makes it pretty clear that what is most important to Christ is the spiritual health of people, not the physical comfort and pleasure of people. If we are truly in a growing relationship with Christ, our minds should primarily think of "heavenly thoughts" with less and less focus on this world (wealth, status, entertainment,...etc). So ask yourself:"Am I wrapped up in the desires of this world or am I focused on what matters most to Christ?"
