I'm gon' need you to say something baby
The title of this writing piece is the title of a secular rap/r and b song. Okay so you got me! I listened to a rap song! OMG!!!! Pray the Lord my strength hear? Now if you're deep, you've probably stopped reading already. You're too saved to be listening to that mess! If you're real, maybe this might bless yah!
Now I'm not going to lie, I have no idea what the artist Drake was talking about in this song! I don't know what he needed somebody named baby needed to say to him. But I chose the title because it's a catchy song and well....I'm gon' need YOU to say something baby! Just like in the scripture Proverbs 18:21, we understand that the literal power of life and death are in our mouths! That little pink thing covered in spit is such a powerful tool! The problem with us church folky christian folks is we DON'T USE THE POWER WITHIN!
If there is power in the pink thing, then why do you keep using it to speak ill over your life? You don't think you do? How many times have you called yourself stupid? How many times have you claimed to be "broke" (having no $$)? How many times have you cursed yourself, your family or friends by speaking the wrong things!?!?!?!
It's time to speak life to any dead situation in your life and death to any situation in your life that isn't supposed to have life! You better learn how to use what you got (pink thing) to get what you want! Mama taught you that didn't she?
You can't keep sitting around with this Dunamis (greek word for power) inside of you and not utilizing it! Even and especially in Ephesians 3:20 where it tells us that God will do exceeding abundantly above all that we can ask or even fathom according to the POWER THAT WORKETH IN US!!!!!! If there's power in you then your tongue must be a socket. You better tap into the source!
Start speaking to your finances, your situation, your family curses, your heart aches, your hardships, your pain and tell it to come under subjection of the power of the holy spirit that works in you!
Now I got you all happy, I won't leave you without the final part to this equation of power which is in James 2:17. Your faith and the power in your tongue don't mean a dime's worth of dog meat if your WORKS DON'T MATCH YOUR FAITH!!!!!! You can have mustard seed faith if you want to but you better have truckload works! Faith without works = death (to your faith). So that must mean faith + works must = life (and that more abundantly).
SPEAK LIFE EVEN RIGHT NOW to your dead situations and dig out the shovels to un-bury those things in you that you thought the enemy had killed!
