If we are to ever know God in the way that He desires for us to know Him, we must begin by exposing the idols that we have held dear for so long. Knowing God intimately and allowing Him to fulfill all that He desires to do in us brings unspeakable joy compared to the disappointment of hollow, empty idols. We must begin placing these false objects of worship where they belong–on the altar before the only One who deserves all our worship.
