God's plan
Unknown to our knowledge, God already have a clear plan. God already decided where Joseph should go. If He decides to lift you up, He will bring some confusion even with the highest officials of the king. All Joseph wanted is to just get out of the prison and probably search for a similar job outside. Though Joseph asked for some help (v. 14) to the butler, God set the butler to forget about it and God used butler in the right time. For those who trust on Him, He moves the coins at the right time and no one understands how He operates.
