Who's directing?
I love the tension in this verse. As I'm challenged to consider all that God was, is and will be in life, I think this verse could serve as a reminder to check the direction of my heart. Where am I headed? What am I obsessing or depending on to deliver me through the trial or the day?
Am I focused on "created things" or the Creator of all things?
Am I worshiping "created things" or finding worth and pouring my heart into my Creator?
Am I relying on the "created things" in my life or the Creator who wants to be a part of my life?
