Offense and Unbelief - Hindering the Power of God

We often think of the power of God to heal and deliver and leave it up to "chance" .... or worse, "God's Sovereignty".

How quickly we forget that we have a role in receiving from God. Where there is offense and unbelief, God's power is hindered. This does not make Him any "less" God ... but we stand in His way. He chooses to reveal Himself on those who believe ... who trust ... who have faith.

Without faith, it's impossible to please God.

In these verses, Jesus' ministry was severely hindered by this local offense and unbelief. My prayer is that I will keep offense and unbelief out of my own heart.
