Life after death

Because of Christ's death on a cross, you have life and that more abundantly. After his death, life for us took on a whole new meaning.

We can now live without fear for if we confess and believe; we are saved. There is nothing else that needs to be done. We like to get super religious and make up a bunch of rules to salvation but I promise you, those are the only factors. Confession and believing.

Now if you truly believe then your life will change. You will want to live more for the master and do better and stay away from sin as much as possible. The thought provoking question I want to ask of you is; if you constantly and willfully sinning, do you really believe? Did you really confess the Lord Jesus or did you just repeat the words?

There has to be a change in you if you truly believe in this awesome man that I serve. Just like you can't go into a 105 degree room without getting hot; just like you can't go outside butt naked in the snow and not freeze; you can't confess and believe if there's no change. If there is no conviction within your self to live right and be a better person then you don't really believe. This whole Christian thing for you is just a ritual your family made you perform or something you're choosing to believe in to make you feel better about your purpose and destiny here on earth. But I come to tell you today that if you would truly believe who he is and how he is then you will have changes made in your life that you can't even begin to understand! You won't want to say things un-Godly, do anything that isn't pleasing in his sigh and you would want to love and treat everybody right. No matter how hard it may be.

After Christ's death, your life became a testament to God's goodness, grace and mercy. So as this week progresses and we reflect on the cross at Calvary at a place called Golgotha, I admonish you to reflect inwardly as well and ask yourself; "Have I really accepted the gift of life after (His) death?"
