Simple solution to a HUGE problem

Jesus tells us that His yoke is easy and His burden is light. Sometimes we forget that, I know I do. I place burdens onto myself and carry around this sin that I am unwilling to admit is there or to face. I walk around with this Silverback Gorilla on my back and claim that it doesn't exist and that no one can see it. But Silverback Gorillas are dangerous and so is sin. If I don't face it and give it to Jesus, I won't only be getting beat to a pulp by this dangerous beast but I will calling God a liar and saying that He can't handle whatever burden that we give Him. His word has no place in our hearts, that means we don't believe Him at His word and that is a true tragedy.

But, Jesus gives us a simple solution, confess your sins to Him and He will forgive you. Not because of you, but because He is faithful and He is just. He paid that price so we didn't have to. He is the only one the can cleanse us and get that monkey off our backs.

Thank you daddy! Thank you so much for showing me a way to purge my sins from me. I love you Lord! You are awesome, faithful, just and kind. I thank you for that! Please help me to face the sins in my life and give them to you, so that I may be forgiven and cleansed. I love you daddy! In Jesus name, Amen.
