Summary of Acts 2
On the day of Pentecost, the apostles were filled with the Holy Spirit and spoke in other tongues. Jews from every nation heard them speaking in their own language and were confused because they were Galileans. Peter spoke to the Jews of what would happen in the last days. He also explained to them that Jesus was handed over to them and they (with the help of wicked men) crucified him. But God raised him from the dead! Peter pleaded with them asking them to repent and be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of their sins. About three thousand of them accepted this message and were baptized.
