Acts 4 Summary
Peter and John were thrown in Jail by the priests, Sadducees, and the temple guard for teaching the people about Jesus' resurrection. However, about 5000 men believed that day (talk about the power of The Holy Spirit). Because of the miracle and the fact that they could see the man healed and all of Jerusalem knew of his healing, they could not punish Peter and John. So they warned them to not speak or teach in the name of Jesus.
