Set your heart on things above

These verses tell us that our old earthly ways died with Christ and we have a new life with his resurrection.
That is not to say that we will never sin again, but when we stumble, we are already forgiven. As we walk with Jesus and get closer to him every day we sin less and less. Because sin seperates us from Him and as we walk more closely, the sin makes us feel more sorry and full of repentfence, we will work towards a better relationship over time.
