The first part of the chapter can be a lesson on giving. It requires honesty with God. They were not chastised because they held back or didn't give more. Rather, they were chastised for their deceit. Accordingly, I had better mean it when I say that I intend to give. The rest of the chapter, broadly, continues the account of the apostles teaching fearlessly about Jesus.
