When Abigail approached David, trying to prevent him from destroying her foolish husband, she spoke of God's calling on his life and of God's protection. She said, "Even when you are chased by those who seek to kill you, your life is safe in the care of the Lord your God, SECURE IN HIS TREASURE POUCH!" (NLT)

God values the lives of His servants and keeps them INVINCIBLE until they have fulfilled His purpose for their lives. Obviously we don't need to be foolish or act imprudently. But it should comfort our hearts and give us great peace that God keeps us "secure in His treasure pouch!"
