Acts 10 - Synopsis
Cornelius, a devout soldier, sees an angel who tells him to send for Peter in Joppa. Cornelius sends reps to Joppa to get Peter. Peter is on a housetop and has a vision of animals being lowered to the ground and he is told to kill and eat. Cornelius' reps arrive where Peter is staying at the home of Simon the tanner by the sea, and Peter goes with them to Caesarea where he preaches Christ to them and they believe and receive the Holy Spirit. The Jewish believers with Peter are amazed because God revealed himself to these Gentiles.
