Where Understanding Begins
Have you ever heard one of those stories where somebody climbs the highest mountain to find an old wizened man isolated in solitude, who knows the key to happiness, or success, or... ?
God makes the trip pointless right here. You want to understand the deep workings of the universe? It starts with the right perspective: Fear God. In other words, take your rightful place as a creation instead of creator, a subject instead of master. Any other way you approach learning is based on arrogance and self-centeredness - which is going to skew your view.
God, please help me, and my boys, to gain knowledge the right way, without polluting it through our own "glass darkly".
