The Simple Truth
Is it possible to be on both sides of these verses?
It is a simple truth, that which we are proud of we hang on the wall for all to see. This is the natural tendency of mankind to parade the good and shovel the bad into the far reaches of the closet, but God sees it all. He's not impressed by our righteous acts. Instead He is concerned with that which we refuse to bring to the light. He sees it. He cares about it, knowing that it is those secret things that can take root in our hearts and destroy our lives if left untreated.
