I love this picture of Christ. He knew that his friends were feeling anxious, scared, confused by what they had just experienced on the mountaintop.
Jesus went TO his friends, Peter, James, and John. He didn't wait for them to come to Him or to ask Him anything, but He went to them, where they were.
Isn't that just like Christ? He comes to us, and meets us where we are.

Jesus had compassion on His friends. I love this! He touched them. He not only went to them, but he touched them.
People need to be touched by God. We may be the one to go to someone, show compassion, and give them a hug, a high-five, etc.

Oh Father, open my eyes today to those around me that need a fresh touch from You.
