Wheat vs Barley

My professor Dr Ditty said that Barley was the cheapest of the grain. Insignificant. Wheat was better, barley didn't have the nutritional value that wheat did. And when Gideon heard him telling this dream he knew that the barley bread was him. Gideon said in verse 6:15 that he was the weakest of his family and his family was insignificant in the tribe and the tribe was the smallest tribe in all of Israel.
