Did God make Samson Sin?
Samson asked very persistently that his mother and father bring him this Philistine woman. It was against God's law for him to marry someone not of his religion. But Judges 14:4 says it was from the Lord for him to marry this woman.
Did God put it in Samson's heart to marry this woman therefore causing Samson to sin? NO! James tells us that God does not tempt us to do evil.
So what is the answer? Simple. God being all knowing and being outside of time knew how Samson would react and what he would want and had a plan to use Samson's sin for his glory.
Guess what? He still does that today. Did God give me the desire when I was a teenager to have sex and do drugs? NO! But he allowed it and now uses it for his glory through me being able to talk to others who are struggling with the same thing.
Jeremiah says He knew us while we were still in our mother's womb. He knew that YOU would be reading this on whatever day it is you are this and the exact moment it would take place.
Rest in that. Find peace in that.
