Contempt for His Kindness

I've been praying that God would set my heart straight regarding my impatience with other Christians as they continue in their "cherished" sin.

Two days ago, God hit me square between the eyes with this verse. Could it really be that I am in contempt of His kindness, tolerance and patience? Certainly not. I love those things about Him. When they apply to me........

I am so blessed that God has faithfully provided the specific truth required to set my heart straight. The mere thought of being in contempt of any part of Him sickens me and yet, here I am.....

I am so blessed to re-discover that His kindness leads you (and me, and others) to repentance. I am trusting that this truth will continue to permeate my heart as I celebrate His kindness, tolerance and patience for myself and for others!
