The Messiah is Here!!!

Matthew 24: 23-28
"Then if anyone tells you, `Look, here is the Messiah,' or `There he is,' don't believe it.24 For false messiahs and false prophets will rise up and perform great signs and wonders so as to deceive, if possible, even God's chosen ones.25 See, I have warned you about this ahead of time.
26 "So if someone tells you, `Look, the Messiah is out in the desert,' don't bother to go and look. Or, `Look, he is hiding here,' don't believe it!27 For as the lightning flashes in the east and shines to the west, so it will be when the Son of Man comes.28 Just as the gathering of vultures shows there is a carcass nearby, so these signs indicate that the end is near.

Well I was just kidding about the Messiah being here, not quite yet. But the lesson from the word is that if anyone ever tells us that the Messiah is here in these inner rooms, or at Disney Land, and tempt you to check it out, then this is the one time you should not go and validate any such reports. For Jesus warned us that there will be false prophets and they will be able to do miracles or magnificent things and will deceive you, so do not bother going or listening to such reports!!!
Remember! The Word said that Christ will come like the flashing of lightning from the East to the West. Everyone will know when Christ Comes, so if someone tells you that they saw Christ and tempt you to come and see, then you should already have alarm bells ringing in your head telling you, “Wait a sec, Jesus warned us that there will be false prophets and if someone tells me that He is over here, then I should not go for I could be deceived. The coming of the Lord will be like the flashing of lightning from the East to the West and everyone will know That Christ is here!

Jesus,
My earnest prayer is that Your word would be buried in my heart so that when events like the one above happen where someone claims to know that the Messiah is at some place, then I pray that alarm bells would go off in my head warning me, “The Word of God said this would happen and you should ignore it lest you fall for some false Messiah!” Let me not fall into the expression where “Curiosity killed the cat” or in this case, “Curiosity killed the Christian.” Amen
