What does it mean when God puts us to the test? Why does he do it?

He promises we can trust him.

Testing allows God to see our faith in him, and for us to see his faithfulness.

Testing is not temptation! A test is designed to bring us closer to God.

How does God test us?

1. In hard things.
2. In good things.

What is the purpose of God's testing?

1. Distinguish Christian from unbeliever.
2. Know and do his instruction.
3. To be able to be trusted with bigger responsibilities.
4. Endurance, perseverance and faithfulness.
5. Preparation for trials, sufferings and temptations.

How do we pass the test?

1. Know the tests are coming!
2. We have to be prepared. (study)
3. Wait and be still.
