So I have spent way too much time asking Jesus to come into my life when all along He has been inviting me to join Him. I beg Him to join me in my battles. I plead with Him to help me in my temptations.

Now finally, I start to understand. He loves me too much to join me in the world I have created. He wants me to join Him in the Kingdom He rules over. "Follow me", Really? is it that simple. "Follow me", Could you seriously be inviting me to follow you and be at peace?

Peace on earth comes through Christ's invitation. Heaven on earth lived out through me. The Kingdom truly is near, if you will just stop looking in your manmade world and "forsake all else".

What are you being asked to forsake today, so that you might follow Jesus?
