Men Need To Serve
Let's face it, selfishness, envy, and pride, mostly accomodate today's male role model. Rap stars, professional athletes, high profile executives, politicians, or any media-rich personality, typically thrives on the accolades he is given. Servant, slave, and stewards, are certainly titles that we don't recognize as being even noteworthy in today's society. But the amount of serving a man does is where we can see how far his heart is from his words! A man is supposed to serve his wife, kids, and church, out of duty. Yet when a man does this, he sometimes says "look what I'm doing, I now derserve some recognition." Men need to serve others because it meets the needs of heaven. We need to have an eternal perspective instead of an internal perspective on life. Will you choose to be a role-model for servant leadership today? Will you meet the needs of others even if they can't repay you? Will show the world that being a real man is about taking what God has blessed you with to bless others? I pray you will.
Peace Out,
