The angel who said this to John indicated that the Word of God (John 1:8) is still supreme!

Child of God, in a day when the structure of the church is being challenged as never before, let us remember that even the angel told John not to worship him.

Jesus is God's final Word. He can be found in His written Word, and in the situations of life. But He is the only one to be worshiped - always!
