Humble Healing

Many followed Him and He Healed them all. Healed them ALL!

Once Jesus healed all these people He told them not to tell anyone He had done this miracle. Why? To fullfil prophecy? I would wager to say no. Jesus is showing us a trait that is so hard to build in our lives. He is being humble.

Why do we do the things we do? Do we do them to achieve greatness? Surely this greatness is reserved for one among men. Jesus is the only one who has achieved greatness. How did He do it? (beyond the fact that He is God) ... Humbly.

Look at why you do things today. Are they for God's kingdom? Would you do them if no one would ever see them? Could you live you life as if nothing you did was for you?

Jesus has invited us to live such a life. This life is to be poured out for God by serving Him and others.
