My Wife Deserves My All

I was reading this verse yesterday in the devotions I have been doing with my wife & this verse really spoke loud to me:

"Drink water from your own well— share your love only with your wife."

My wife & I attended a marriage conference this past weekend, which was so incredible for us to experience together.  It was a reminder to me of how much ground we have gained & the growth we have made together.  It was also a reminder to me personally of all the areas that I'm STILL growing in -- most importantly in the area of loving my wife & giving her my everything as a man & a husband.

It was a reminder to me that next to Jesus, I want my wife to be the most important person in my life.  I also was reminded that unless I love on Jesus first & allow Him to love on me, I can't possibly love my wife the way God wants me to.

I am asking God to help me pursue my wife more than I ever have before.  I think this should be the prayer of every man who is married.  Let's not allow life to slide by without without being the men that God has called us to be.
