Get Back To The First Discipleship

Seems to me that "discipleship" for anybody was never meant to be just a part of the christian/church experience; rather, it should/needs be the entire church experience! Follow Jesus as He lives out the best example of what the Great Commission looks like. That's it. That's the goal: live out the Great Comission just like Jesus did. But it seems to me that the process of "discipleship" in today's church culture looks nothing like this 1st call of discipleship. Of course we're going to have to go through some material, gather into groups sometimes for some particular studies in order to get some further questions answered, but the entire process, the entire goal, the entire purpose, is to learn how to fish for people the way Jesus did.

Do you agree?
