eve is swayed by the 3 types of sins..
Everyone blames Eve for the destruction of life, but like someone in another contribution noted no where before the time Eve takes of the apple does it say who talked to Eve about what she could/could not eat and why: however, it is plain to see she was aware that she shouldn't eat from the tree.
My opinion on what happened with the Eve partaking in the apple is that what is done is already done can't do anything about it, but learn from her error. Early within the bible God reveals to us an example of someone being swayed by the three types of sins: Lust of the eyes, Lust of the flesh, and the pride of life. The fruit is obviously pleasing to the eye, it appears and possibly feels whole enough to be nuturing to the body, and it hold the promise of a life in which they are like God. Oh temptation! May we learn from Eve the signs of temptation and prevent ourselves from sinning.
Lastly, I'm curious to know why Adam so easily partakes of the fruit? He should of just ratted Eve out or kicked her out of the Garden, something shoot! Maybe if he did there would have still been hope for man kind.. oh well what's done is done now all we can hope is for the now and what is to come. Hope that there is still hope for mankind before Jesus returns...
