They Ran Jesus Out of Town

LOL!

I think this is hillarious. "Those tending the pigs..." were not at all impressed by Jesus' act of kindness to the men from whom he cast the deamons. No. They were pissed that they're whole heard of pigs had been killed. Afterall, that was their livelihhood.

That's why they ran Jesus out of town. :-)

On the other hand, that was a great opportunity for them to have faith, and seek God. God had used their herd to heal someone else; but they weren't grateful, they were angry.

Often times we say, "Just use me God to be a blessing to someone else." But when He does, and it requires a little or a lot more of us than we feel comfortable with, how do we react?

Are we greatful that God used us, as we asked? Are we excited for the other person's breakthrough? Do we us the opportunity to thank God that he is the restorer of our souls and that he can certainly restore our supply? Or do we say, "Geez God. When I asked you to use me to bless them, I didn't mean give them all my stuff!"
