Amazing Teacher

The phrase "...they were amazed at his teaching..." fascinates me. The Bible clearly states that people thought Jesus was an amazing teacher; His teaching time left them in amazement. Why were they amazed? The rest of the verse tells us why: because He taught with REAL authority.

I'm not sure what "real authority" completely looks like, but here is what I do know. I know that when a teacher is able to completley nail ETHOS, PATHOS, & LOGOS then he obviously has the complete authority.

The people that followed Jesus (even if it was only for one Sabbath day teaching) were consistently left amazed by His teaching; do we leave the people that follow us with the same feeling?
