Looking at creation
3 When I look at your heavens, the work of your fingers, the moon and the stars, which you have set in place,(4) what is man that you are mindful of him, and the son of man that you care for him?
How many times did this thought come across my mind in my 36 years of life? I can remember even before knowing God thinking about this question. How big our universe is, and how very small we are. I love the fact that we think this, because if fact God is that big. He is bigger than our universe. He is the creator of our universe! And yet, He still desired to create us, desired to give us life, desires to hear our prayers, desires for us to follow HIM. The creator of all this vastness, this huge universal world, the creator of ALL things, loves and cares enough for us that He would send a redeemer into our lives that we may know HIM and He would save us!
Who are we that He would care? We mean something extrodinary to HIM our creator. That even one that wonders He would go find. Now that is mind blowing!!!
Lord, my creator, you have set me up on this Earth someplace in the universe that you created. You give us light by night, and by day, and stars and months and seasons, and so much. Blessings I see daily. I wonder often who am I that you would care, but I see that you are HUGE, and you love me with all you are! Lord, I pray that I can love you and all that you are with all that you made me! Keep my feet planted on the path that leads to you, help my heart stay focused on your creation, your love, your guidence and your words. I will hide them Lord, and bind them, and speak them, and sing them, and share them. Thank you for your love for me, for making yourself known to me before I even found you. Oh, the love of my life is complete JOY in my heart. Thank you father!
