The Pursuit of Righteousness
This verse shows me how pursuing righteousness needs to be an ACTIVE lifestyle. So often I let life kinda come at me. When decisions are presented I hope to choose the righteous choice.
But how often to I go after righteous things? When am I going to MAKE it a part of my life. Its the difference between meeting needs that present themselves and LOOKING for the need. Its a difference between sharing faith when its obvious to do so, or actively looking for opportunities.
Maybe the spiritual drought I feel often is a result of being too passive and not active enough.
