The Promises are Ours for the Taking
When I am under attack there are a few verses that I return to and this is one of them. 1 Corinthians 1:20 "For all the promises of God in Him are Yes, and in Him Amen, to the glory of God through us."
The words that jump out at me are "All", "Yes", and "Amen". Take a quick stroll through the Word and check out the blessings God has bestowed on us. The book is full of them. And in this verse it clearly points out that it is referring to ALL the promises. But to have them play out in our lives Paul points out ONE thing.
Just prior to the Yes and Amen are the words "In" and "Him". The blessings are dependent of our location. Not the physical one, of course. :) but where are you in your heart, soul and mind? When we remain in HIM the blessing are ALL "yes and amen".
Remain IN HIM and be that light on the hill.
