Share THE Bread... The Bread of Life!
Whoever has a bountiful eye will be blessed, for he shares his bread with the poor.
What do your eyes see? Do they search for places to give, or search for those that have needs? Do we search for places to serve others in need? Those who see needs and help them will be blessed, those that look to be generous will be blessed, because you have shared with one that has little or none.
Once you give, you in turn become blessed by giving, your eyes change... they eagerly set out to find someone else of need that you can help. Your heart is changed, and therefore your eyes become generous... Keep giving, keep searching, keep blessing those that are poor. People can be poor of many things, they can have little food, or they can have little clothes, or it could be having no place to live, or no power in their homes. Yet, remember it can also be poor of spirit. You can give generously with a smile, a hug, a cup of soup, a friend, and giving of your time. I love to share my bread, because my bread is the bread of life! I pray my eyes, are always on the look out to see who is hungry for it!
Lord Jesus, my savior, you are my bread of life. I truely honor you, and love you. Give me eyes that are generous, a heart that is full, a hand that can help, and a mouth that can lift the spirit of others. Help me to see with these eyes those who are in need of Your Bread! Help me to give it freely, and generously. You are my blessing, you are my joy and it is my honor to share that with those I see. In your name Jesus, I search, in your honor Jesus, I give. In my love of you Christ Jesus, I say and ask these things of you. Amen
