This is one of those verses in the Bible that just gives me chills. Here is a man...Judas...that walked with Jesus for several years. He saw the miracles...knew that Christ was the Son of God...heard the teachings...and experienced the Messiah in person. Yet Satan entered into Judas and caused him to betray the Lord.

The part that gives me the chills...if Satan could take control and influence Judas...an original disciple...Satan could get to me. It is paramount that we as followers of Christ guard our hearts, minds and souls from any area that the devil can attack from. We must constantly be ready for Satan's attacks and flee from all appearances of evil. We stay perpetually stay in God's Word, in the fellowship of other Believers and in constant prayer with the Father. If one of the twelve disciples could be a casualty of war...so can we.
