Genesis 47:24 20% back to Pharoah
Here we see Joseph institute a new law for those living on Pharoh's lands, that they are to return 1/5th of their crops back to Pharoah. The people were more than happy to comply as Joseph had just saved their lives from the famine.
This reminds me of the 10 percent minimum the OT teaches believers to give back to God. We would do well to remember their attitude and response as we are no better, we sinners saved by grace.
